KPMBOLT is composed of a nut body, jackbolts, and thrust washers, all of which are manufactured in accordance with the Manufacturing and Inspection Process Plan (MPP). The nut body is fabricated from high – strength alloy steel accompanied by a material certificate, belonging to the same batch and heat number. Its chemical composition is verified by a spectrometer, conforming to GB/T 3077. After being heat – treated to a hardness range of HRC 30–36, it undergoes 100% hardness testing. The grain size is ≥5 grade, and it is subjected to 100% ultrasonic testing (UT) in accordance with EN 10308 Level 4. The jackbolts are made of higher – grade steel, with a hardness of HRC 48–54, and 100% hardness testing is performed. The yield strength is ≥1500MPa, and 100% magnetic particle testing (MT) is carried out according to EN 10228 – 1 Level 4. The washers have a hardness of HRC 40–44, characterized by precision and defect – free. The pure axial preload ensures uniform force distribution and eliminates loosening.
